Snow

Yes! It is still here! Not like any that I remember. Although I do remember the buses not showing up until 1:00, one day and then leaving again at 3. Those were the days of private owned buses. Mostly farmers drove. They had the ways and means and time. Not to mention diesel fuel. I was in high school, mind you. The first time I remember getting on a bus was in grade 2, I think. Anyway it was a field trip to the water treatment plant, actually we followed the course of water from source, Big Walnut, to sewage treatment, which was right by the dog shelter. I might add that was the highlight for not only myself but probably 90% of the class. Seven year-olds, so what would you think. See I walked to school, along with everyone who attended Alabama Street School. 2 Miles for some of them.
